Functional Cloths:

KenDor is pleased to be one of the leading importers of FUNCTIONAL CLOTHS in Canada. KenDor has become very well known for our innovative "moisture management" and "functional" cloths. Many of these also have antibacterial properties. Along with the "moisture management" qualities, there are qualities that we offer with "U/V protection" as well as wicking properties on the same cloth.

These are the key elements of KenDor's Functional Line:

CoolBest yarn, made by LeaLea, is one of the world's most economical "Moisture Management" systems. KenDor features this amazing 100% Polyester yarn in several exciting qualities: LeaLea's Moisture wicking yarn available in Mesh and Pique. By the very nature of the yarn, items made from CoolBest yarns have natural U/V PROTECTION.

• CoolBest Mesh - 150gsm wicking 60" and 26 exciting colors in stock. Great for the all-purpose functional garment, and an excellent base for your print. These goods are suitable for sublimation printing.
• CoolBest Wicking Pique - 260gsm, 60" and is available in 16 colors

Perhaps the must innovative product to come along in the short lifetime of Moisture Management cloths. CHITOSANTÉ is created when Chitosan (made from the shells of shrimp & crabs) is combined with textile fibers in the finishing process. It binds easily and permanently. It is BREATHABLE, ANTIBACTERIAL and is a fully functional wicking item available in many different fabrications. These qualities are all suitable for sublimation printing.

• ChitoSanté "Extreme" Stretch - 265gsm Jersey knit 60" wide that is 92% Polyester and 8% Spandex. Available in 17 colors
• ChitoSanté Stretch Interlock - 155gsm Interlock 95% Polyester 5% Spandex and is ideal for use in undergarments as well as body gloves. Available in Black
• ChitoSanté Interlock - 145gsm 60" 100% Interlock available in 12 colors
• ChitoSanté Micro Pique- 160gsm 60" 100% Polyester Pique stitch

DINTEX is "YOUR SECOND SKIN". It is a WATERPROOF, WINDPROOF and BREATHABLE membrane that is state-of-the-art in it's technology. Dintex allows very rapid moisture evaporation. Dintex has no holes that can become clogged with sweat or detergents. Dintex is also completely non-toxic. The fabrications that are available use DINTEX as the middle layer on a three-ply quality:

• DINTEX 4087 - 340gsm and 56". This is the supreme quality for the SECOND SKIN. The face is 80% Nylon 20% Spandex Tricot and 100% Polyester Microfleece on the reverse
• DINTEX 4089 - 400gsm and 56". 3-Layer box Check ideal for sublimation printing.

Sof-Touch Nylon/Spandex Jersey:

Sof-Touch* is KenDor's name for the sensational Nylon/Spandex Jersey that is the "must-have" for the active person who perpires a lot while stretching, exercising, or performing their yoga routines (or all three). It is ideal for Dancewear. Suitable for sublimation printing.

Made from generic 88% Nylon and 12% Spandex, Sof-Touch comes with the added feature of the 3M Scotchgard™ protection treatment for moisture management (wicking). This fabric not only allows you to feel great, but it wicks moisture away from the body allowing you to remain cool and comfortable. Sof-Touch is available in a wide range of colors.

Rayon From Bamboo Products:

Rayon From Bamboo is a natural fiber that is environmentally friendly in many ways. The plant is grown in regions of the world that are economically challenged. Rayon From Bamboo is fully sustainable. It does not require pesticides or irrigation. Rayon From Bamboo is a fast growing (as much as 3 feet in a day) renewable asset that is generally grown in regions that are impoverished. Rayon From Bamboo fabrics are very soft and have a natural sheen. Also Rayon From Bamboo is naturally antibacterial and odour resistant.

• 190gsm 66% Bamboo 28% Cotton 6% Spandex Bamboo Stretch Jersey
• 300gsm 70% Bamboo 30% Cotton Brushed Fleece

This same drive for the environment by our staff is the same drive for Recycled products that has spearheaded KenDor's latest direction: Recycled Textiles for the Activewear market.
